Send Your Files Via Email
Preparing your job for output at Alliance Printing
All major page/document layout programs have features or plug-ins that assist in collecting all of your elements for output at a printing service provider. Please follow the appropriate steps in the links below to assure inclusion of all elements.
  1. Read the Pre-Press Checklist and/or Pre-Press specifications to ensure document integrity and inclusion.
  1. Please select the appropriate program below that you used to create your document in. Please follow the steps on that page to prepare your files.
  Adobe InDesign CS

 

  Adobe PageMaker 6.5 / 7.0  
  Quark XPress

Macromedia Freehand
Microsoft Products: If you have created your document in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or other similar product, please create a Press-Ready PDF of your document and send that to us. We can accept native versions of these applications, but please remember to send all artwork and fonts used in the document(s). We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of color or content of these files; please be sure to check your proof thoroughly before approval.
 
  1. Please send us your job using the following methods or put it onto CD/ZIP Disk and send it to us.
Send your job to us via Email Send your job to us via FTP
If you would like to send your job via Email, please use the following directions.
  • Zip/Stuff/Compress all required files into one file. 
    (Common programs include WinZip, StuffIt, etc)
    OR Create a PDF file using the settings listed here.
  • Email your compressed file to .
    Included in the email should be:
    • Client/Customer Name
    • Contact Name &
      Phone Number
    • Quote/Job Number
    • Compressed file
If you are unable to email your job to us due to restrictions of your email/internet provider, you now have the ability to send us your job via FTP.
  • Log into ftp://ftpuploads@allianceprinting.net
    • Username:
      ftpuploads@allianceprinting.net
    • Password: ftpupload
  • Upload your file(s) with a name
    corresponding to your company
    or print job information.
  • Send us an email stating that
    you have successfully completed
    uploading your documents/files.

Are you on a MAC & don't have FTP software? Do you have Adobe GoLive installed as part of your Creative Suite 2 package? You can use GoLive to FTP - click here for a brief walkthrough.

If you do not have GoLive and are on a MAC, we recommend installing the FREE FTP software "CyberDuck". Here is a link to the website: http://cyberduck.ch/
